Dandenong to Pakenham East

This package covered about 30 km of railway and was delivered as one of the largest signalling commissioning occupations in the program.

To keep control of the scope, the work was split into three digital sub-projects aligned to package boundaries and delivery teams.

Each contractor worked from the same asset and cable baseline in Trax. That made it possible to track installation status, defects, serial numbers, GPS points, and supporting photos in real time.

Progress claims were checked against field records in the system, which reduced disputes and rework.

At this scale, the main challenge was maintaining one trustworthy view of assets and defects. Trax gave teams that shared source of truth throughout delivery.
